The Reverse Glass Artistry of Larry White

Many of the pieces shown are turn-of-the-century style gold leaf signs. Most are original designs with some being replicas of  Victorian era signage, trade cards, letterheads, or labels. See some.

Most of the work presented has an array of reverse glass gilding, ornamentation and embellishment techniques. Also employed are intricate glue chipping, acid etching and sand carving techniques along with a wide variety of different painted finishes. or those interested, this website has a section on reverse glass production techniques.

Known as the "Rolls Royce" of signage, gold leaf signs have brilliance like none other. They can be custom created for your particular application, whether it is for home or office décor, corporate or business identity, antique replication, or commemorative event. If you have any questions about reverse glass, or want to discuss commissioning or purchasing a sign, please feel free to contact me.
