Many of the pieces shown are turn-of-the-century style gold leaf signs. Most are original designs with some being replicas of Victorian era signage, trade cards, letterheads, or labels. See some.
Most of the work presented has an array of reverse glass gilding, ornamentation and embellishment techniques. Also employed are intricate glue chipping, acid etching and sand carving techniques along with a wide variety of different painted finishes. or those interested, this website has a section on reverse glass production techniques.
